With the IT industry witnessing immense competition, high productivity and improved efficiency has become one of the most crucial factors for successful business engagement. Aligning customers’ business objectives with IT helps solution providers to cater to the fluctuating business demands in a more effective manner. In order to achieve a competitive advantage, collaborative business models that reap benefits both to the IT service provider and the customer need to be exploited.
At DRC Systems, we deploy customer-centric engagement models that not only lead to higher cost optimization but also result in high flexibility and reduced risks. The foundation of our engagement models lies in building long term commitments with our customers thereby encouraging their loyalty to our company. We setup governance models that focus on how projects can be coordinated and managed to ensure achievement of common business goals.
DRC Systems offers a variety of engagement models that can be tailored based on the customers’ distinct requirements and nature of project:
- Time and material engagement
- Fixed price engagement
- Virtual worker outsourcing
We offer the traditional T&M model which is based on project needs, depth of scope, number of resources and the tools used. Depending on our customers’ preference, we can agree upon an hourly, weekly or monthly rate for our project resources. In the T&M model, we make sure we put a strong project management in place to monitor and track the project.
For projects with clearly defined scope and an established project management methodology, we offer the fixed price model. The project milestones and deliverable are communicated with our customers well before project kick-off which enable our customers to get a good grasp of the project timeline and associated costs.
We also provide virtual worker outsourcing where our customers can lease our competent resources for a specified period of time. Our resources can be deployed onsite or can provide support remotely to meet customers’ IT needs. This model ensures close monitoring as our contracted resources would work under your direct supervision. The virtual worker outsourcing model allows higher agility; based on the project progress, customers can add or reduce resources thereby maintaining cost control.
