Job Summary
We are looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products.
Requirements :
- Experience in customizing LMS and CMS components in Open edX.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with MySQL/MongoDB, NGINX, Ubuntu/Linux servers.
- Experience in RESTful API development and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Git, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot platform issues and deploy patches and updates.
- Proficiency in building RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
- Strong understanding of Django ORM, class-based views, middleware, and signals.
- Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI, LTI, and SSO (OAuth, SAML).
- Contributions to the Open edX community (GitHub, forums) are a plus.
